Recently, the School of Foundation (SoF) in collaboration with the Visual Cinematography Club (VCC) at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) successfully brought the campus to life with SoF Halloween Night 2025, an immersive horror-themed event.

Coordinated and supervised by Mr Muhammad Danish Mohd Johari (Senior Lecturer, SoF at APU), the event transcended a typical Halloween celebration, offering participants a dynamic, interactive experience centred on puzzle-solving, teamwork, and survival challenges.

Participants took part in a treasure-hunt-style challenge, navigating through specially prepared rooms and corridors while completing thematic puzzles and locating hidden clues at various checkpoints.

The experience was further intensified by student volunteers in full costume and character makeup, who portrayed horror figures such as masked killers and witches.

Their dynamic interactions transformed the event into a suspense-filled survival scenario, pushing participants to think strategically and collaborate closely under pressure.
The event also served as a valuable experiential learning platform for student volunteers, who were actively involved in operations, logistics, performance, safety management, and participant guidance.
Through hands-on involvement, students gained practical exposure to event planning, teamwork, communication, and real-time problem-solving.

Overall, SoF Halloween Night 2025 received highly positive feedback, with participants praising its immersive setup, engaging storyline, and thrilling atmosphere.
The strong turnout and smooth execution reflected the effectiveness of collaborative planning and student-led initiatives, reinforcing SoF’s commitment to creating impactful learning experiences beyond the classroom.
